What's new in DesignMD

We reworked how we read a website's design.

Better names. Colours, fonts and spacing are now named for what they do, so your file is easier to read and reuse.

More complete. We pick up the full range of font sizes a site uses, and the real set of buttons instead of one generic one.

Tidier output. The token list at the top of each file now displays as a neat, collapsible section.

Better previews. Previews show only the theme a site really has, and every colour swatch and example is now readable.

A big update across Discover, your profile, and more.

Bookmark and like Discover sites. Save the design systems you love and like the ones you find useful. Everything you bookmark shows up in your profile so you can get back to it anytime.

A fresh Discover page. We rebuilt Discover with a cleaner look, category filters, and richer detail pages so it is easier to browse real design systems.

An easier profile. The profile page got a revamp, so reaching your account, generations, and bookmarks is quick and simple.

Private share links. Make any DESIGN.md share link private so only you can see it, and switch it back to public whenever you want.

Request account deletion. You can now ask us to delete your account and all of your data right from your profile.

Like a release. If an update makes your day, tap like to cheer on the team.

The new DesignMD Figma plugin turns any generation into a real, usable foundation in your file — no more eyeballing tokens from a screenshot.

One click brings in Variables (colors, spacing, radii, border widths, opacity), Styles (paint, text, and effect/shadow styles), and a ready-made design-system board laid out as real layers. Connect your account from the plugin, pick a generation, and import.

Each import costs 12 credits, charged once per generation — re-importing the same design is free.
